Apparently it's »in« to have a »stuff« page and tell people which tech and tools you use on a daily basis for ... well I guess inspirational reasons? If you ask me, you should just use or buy whatever you think will improve your work and life, step by step. But here we go.

Homeoffice

Apple MacBook Pro 14" M2 (2023)

No Windows, because fuck that. No Linux, because I need to get work done instead of working on being able to get work done. macOS is far from perfect, but Apple's ARM hardware is stupid fast, has at least a whole day of battery life and it (usually) just works.

Keychron Q3 Max QMK/VIA (US ANSI Layout)

Although using a German keyboard layout for my whole life, out of curiosity I once started using a US layout keyboard and haven't looked back since. The Keychron Q3 Max is a top of the line mechanical keyboard with a solid aluminum body. You could probably use it to hit someone in a dark alley and it would still work. I equipped it with Gateron Jupiter Banana switches, except for the whitespace key where I stuffed the switch with the highest possible pull weight to avoid hitting it by accident while resting my thumbs on it.

MX Master 3S Mouse

Comfortable, reliable and has a scroll wheel that doesn't break after a few months. Also, I really like the thumb wheel for scrolling on the X-axis and the button you can enable and disable the tactile scrolling feedback of the main scroll wheel. The USB-C port at a reasonable position and three Bluetooth profiles sealed the deal for me.

Dell UltraSharp U3219Q (31.5" 4K)

Great monitor to work on. It measures 31.5" and offers a smooth 4K experience @ 60 Hz. My MacBook Pro is connected via USB-C and the monitor automatically charges it. In the mid-term I'm looking forward to upgrade to a 5K monitor. More resolution is always better when it comes to working on text-heavy tasks such as coding or hopping around servers in SSH sessions.

Custom Standing Desk

That's a piece of my office furniture, that I'm actually pretty proud of. A while back I ordered a 200x80 cm American walnut table top from a local wood workshop and let me tell you, that thing is an absolute beast of a wood slab. Not gonna lie, it costed a little fortune, but that thing will probably outlive me. I strapped it on a standing desk kit from Jarvis Fully and I can comfortably have two separate workstations at the same table.
